Pat's Masonry

"I live in Narragansett and needed a roof line up chimney rebuild after years of weathering. I called several masonry contractors in South County, but due to the relatively "small" nature of the job (i.e., not a new construction mansion on Ocean Road) and the difficulty in matching the original concrete blocks from the 1970s, all of them either failed to call me back or declined the job saying they were "unable to fit me in." One contractor started the job then never returned. After 3 years of searching with unsatisfactory results, I finally found Pat. He is a very articulate young man that does what he says. He provided a very reasonable quote and was flexible on the scope of work to exactly what I wanted. After working together to sort out the materials, and working around several weather delays, Pat and his father completed the build in just one day. They used their expertise to determine the realistic extent of the damage and deftly blended in the new blocks with the old. New flashing, cement cap, and sealed. Excellent workmanship. Cleaned the roof and left the work area looking better than when they arrived. I would highly recommend Pat for this type of work."

"We searched online for a nearby Mason or chimney sweep who could clean and fix our chimney. We called Pat, and he responded promptly. Then when he and his team came by and swept our chimney, we asked him for an estimate to repair or replace our chimney, and he was honest and straightforward. We hired him on the spot after this positive experience and Pat demonstrated repeatedly that he was the right guy for the job. Any timeline promises Pat made were firmly respected, when he said he would arrive by 8 am he did; When he said he'd be done by 10 am he was done and his crew cleaned up the site afterward. Pat reconstructed our chimney from the roof up in two days and gave it a new bolder look. He guaranteed his work and said if we have any problems he will come back and fix it. When all was said and done we were very happy with the price and quality of Pat’s craftmanship in fact he was so honest he gave us money back after we paid him because he overestimated the cost of the job. Needless to say we are very happy with the work of Pat and his crew. We have already begun recommending Pat to our friends and family. We will also be hiring Pat for our future masonry projects around our home."
