This place has most of the food and dining. In this way as well, Memorial Union servers as the heartbeat of campus life."

"Several food options, several places to get freshly brewed coffee - including a student run coffee shop with comfy seating options, great hair salon, computer store, campus bookstore, credit union, information desk, and even an optometrist shop to name a few businesses! This building also houses many offices occupied by various student organizations and groups as well as has many varying styles of meeting rooms to cater to your event or function! The staff that work throughout the building are friendly, knowledgeable, and very accomodating! The Information desk located on the second floor sells 1/2 price bus passes to students & faculty or staff with campus ID (full price with no ID), stamps, envelopes and a selection of local newspapers! Several RIPTA bus routes drop-off and pick-up just outside the Memorial Union with destinations from Providence all the way to Newport! The building is well maintained, kept very clean, and has many places available throughout the building for seating! Campus tours start and end in the student lounge located on the 2nd floor. If you are a student needing assistance with campus dining plans or need to replace your ID - head on up to the Campus Access Office and they will be glad to assist you! There is even a no cost, 45-minute parking lot to accommodate customers and guests of the Memorial Union! The building is wjeelchair accessible and has many sparkling clean public restrooms available for customer and guest use!"
