"I mean, just wow. I dined here with my family and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was decent, but the manager Chris was a very rude and hostile person. We had a minor issue that could have very easily been remedied. However, after bringing it to his attention we were yelled at and chewed out in front of other patrons of the restaurant. He made it a point to return to our table two more times and continue using harsh and aggressive language to harass my dinner party. Fortunately, the head waitress became aware of our problem and was very easily able to implement the fix needed. Lindsey (head waitress) was amazing, but we will not be returning due to the fear of further harassment by the manager Chris."
"While the food was decent, regrettably the General manager Christopher Moore was about as obnoxious and pompous as they come. We had made reservations for this past weekend to celebrate a major milestone and had requested to be sat in a quiet corner. Upon arrival, we were sat at a table that was closest to the bar and to the entrance of the restaurant, which was terribly loud due to several tipsy/drunk women screeching by the bar. My father is hard of hearing which is why we originally requested to be sat further away from the general crowd. After a certain point it got so loud that no one could hear one another at the table, so we requested to be moved - which is a fairly normal request at any restaurant. My partner ended up going to talk to Christopher, to which he was met with a belligerent attitude and was blatantly rude to him and denied our request even after we mentioned that the reason we would like to move is because of my fathers inability to hear us from 1 ft away. We had spoken to our waitress several times at this point and she unfortunately was not able to move us due to Christophers refusal. At this point everyone was upset. We tried speaking to Christopher again, but then he proceeded to yell at us telling us that he has 100 + reservations that night and then proceeds to order all of us to sit down as if we were 5 year old's and then storms away. At that point we were ready to leave. Thankfully, our angel of a waitress Lindsey was able to eventually move us to a quiet table in the back that was open the whole time and is just kept empty for potential reservations. We were there for 3 + hours and noticed that there were at least 1-3 tables open throughout the night so there was no way he could not have accommodated us. Also, we would have been okay with the situation if he had approached us in a kinder manner but instead Christopher decided to go the most abrasive path possible. We went out for a celebration dinner and this is the kind of service we were met with. I have never been one to have issues at restaurants especially with the staff as I have worked in restaurants before and usually side with the staff in many instances but this was absolutely absurd. The one good thing I will say is that our waitress Lindsey was a sweetheart and did her best to accommodate us the whole night and very personable and nice. This situation was not her fault at all and I wish she was not caught up in the middle of it. Overall, I do not foresee myself going back to this establishment as for me it is not worth it to go back and relive the nightmare that is Christopher Moore."
"Nice place. Good service. Damn, good burger! I had the Public Burger Medium rare and it had a ton of flame-broiled flavor while also being perfectly bloody."
"Very nice inhouse restaurant. Steve and 'Ray' were excellent staff and great personalities. My Manhattan was one of the best I ever had. The calamari app was big enough for at least 4-5 to share. Scallops were amazing (great plating) and the cioppino was beautiful. We ate at the bar as all the dinner reservations were taken because of a show next door. Call early!"
"Waitress needs more help but works very hard and cares.. Not the largest portion of chowda but extremely delicious.. Spinach salad had a wonderful balance of flavors.."
