"I got the awful awful today on Smith St. It was like it was milk with a little bit of syrup in it. Couldn’t taste the strawberry awful awful or coffee awful awful. Got 2 both was terrible. Newport Creamery used to be good. Very milky I won’t buy them again."

"Chicken tenders had a odd texture and off flavor. Honey Mustard sauce tasted more like mayonnaise. Server was very pleasant, although after clearing the table we waited nearly 10 minutes for the bill."

"Wonderful little restuarant and creamery! Food was delicious and the ice cream was deadly good. A house favorite ice cream flavor is Crazy Vanilla (rainbow colors, see pics of it in a chocolate chip cookie sandwich). Server was a gem. If you're in the mood for a local version of Friendlys, definitely check this out-- it's tastier!"

"I’ve come to this location many times and it’s my wife’s favorite (happy wife…happy life). They have great food choices from healthy and fresh…to juicy greasy and delicious (the greasy part is a guy thing and I’m a fan). Plus great dessert choices involving ice cream, cookies, waffles, brownies and more! This place is always clean and well maintained…including the bathrooms. The service is always good, even near closing time. The atmosphere is pleasant and the climate is cool. They always get the orders right (well…99% of the time) and they don’t constantly ask “How is everything?” while you’re busy chewing or half-gulping your root beer float (now I’m craving one). Newport Creamery is a great place to go eat alone (you can pig out this way) or with your whole family. The ice creams aren’t too sugary and the whipped cream is made right there daily and it’s not sugary either. So eat up!…and have a strawberry shake, root beer float, cheeseburger and a hotdog for me…oh!…and a waffle with ice cream on it too!!"

"Ice cream was very good and was huge for the price. The chicken and waffles however...the waffle was actually very good. Nice and crispy and soft. But the chicken was terrible. It looked like something I got as a kid in grade school for lunch. For the price, I expect REAL chicken with my meal, not some microwave patty. I would come here again but only for ice cream."
