"As always Becky at Madelines crew cuts and curls in North Stonington was a godsend. She cuts my 3 year old son’s hair, and he is autistic, which means haircuts can be a challenge. She always has new ways of making kids who may be autistic or struggle with haircuts comfortable. She had a PECs board this time and a visual first/then board going through the different stages of the haircut! She had tablets and sensory toys as well. This is a full service salon and they doesn’t outwardly advertise they provide these accommodations. But to parents of these children, seeing their kids be included and considered is everything we hope for in the world they’re growing up in. 100% worth the 45min drive for us. They have customers for life!"
