"From start to finish, Cook and Dagger was amazing. Friendly staff greeted us and wished us a Happy New Year on the way out. The food was all fresh and delicious!! And there wasn't much of a wait at all. The drinks were also very good!! Will be back for sure!"
"Our favorite local restaurant!! Food is always incredible, and they change their menu frequently for the seasons. Drinks are also fantastic - the Some Devil is perfect. Sweet Potato Hummus and Chicken and Dumplings are our current faves"
"I should have checked this place out months ago. Excellent food and service. We had the scallops rissoto and the duck udon noodles. Both were excellent. Also had the crispy brussel sprouts appetizer and that was great as well. We stopped next door for a drink at Cedar Spill after dinner and that place was also very nice."
"This is a nice little restaurant , tucked away in the middle of smithfield . It’s located about 5 mins off the highway and pretty much near the center of town. The location isn’t the greatest , as it sits near a heavy intersection , and traffic tends to build , but has no effect on what they bring to the table , literally. The inside is very nice , and spacious . I love the detail they put into their craft , down to the paper table cloth with the stamp. They have what looks like 3 areas to the restaurant, but on the same level more or less . The staff were great , especially our server (Diana) , she was awesome. Not only was she professional but she was also very personable. Felt like we were besties by the time we left . The food menu isn’t large by any means , but the menu does change frequently. But what is on the menu as their “ staple “ dishes , are delicious options , and their seasonal specials , are equally as good , if not better. The wings I ordered , may have been the best I’ve had in a long time. Entree’s came out fast , and were delicious in every bite. I was very impressed with the quality of their food, and give sincere compliments to the chef’s . All around a great experience , and we look forward to returning in the very near future!"
"Walked-in for dinner on a Monday night - place was empty but a lot of people came for pick-up orders. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Exceptional appetizers (smoked carrot hummus with warm pita chips was the best!) and the chocolate mousse pie was also amazing! Wish we found this place earlier, will definitely be back! P.S. the photos are from a more recent visit for takeout and I have to say - this place never disappoints!!! So so good."
