"Chris does exceptional work. However, his customer service is terrible. It took him 8 months to cover a loveseat. First he promised it would be done in 6 weeks. Then by thanksgiving. Then Christmas. Then Valentine’s Day. Finally got it for Easter. Oh….and he already had more than half the cost of the job. Very aggravating."

"Worse customer service I have ever experienced. I brought my ottoman to Chris on March 26, 2022 and he told me he was busy with doing boat items but if I wanted to leave it he could have it done in about 6-8 weeks. 5 months later I picked up the pieces of my ottoman from him and he had no explanation as to why he never finished what he started except to say he "just wasn't into it". I asked him why he didn’t tell me that when I was calling him on a weekly basis for 2 months before I finally picked it up today, incomplete. He had no apologies and showed complete indifference as to why my ottoman was still in pieces. I was there at 11:30 am this morning and he went on to say if I left it with him he could have it done by 2pm. When I asked if he meant today, he laughed and said "probably not". Who runs a business like this. He may do good work, but as far and being a reputable guy, he's below average. Fortunately I was able to find another upholsterer in Milford, Sal's, and he was able to finish my ottoman in a day."

"My boat seats were completely beat after aging in the sun and being 28 years old! I shopped around and got some prices that were absolutely astronomical. After being referred to Perkins, I reached out and got what I felt was a fair price for such a difficult upolstery job. I was AMAZED at the quality and craftsman ship done by the shop. The attention to detail was awesome! Granted good work takes time so you will need to be patient for the job to be done, but this is something you can discuss with the shop.
