"Excellent experience! My usual place, that has you feeling as though you were on an assembly line, was not open yet. I searched my area and Joe's was opening at 8:30 so I drove over. I was expecting a couple of burly men with scissors but found a couple of nice ladies with fresh baked pastry and coffee. The place was decorated for the holidays and I was pleasantly surprised! Tami took her time, was detail oriented and charged less than my typical "chain" shop. Needless to say I will be back in a month!"

"I am writing about a bad experience today that I have had after coming many years to Joe's Hairstyling. I am sad to say I will NOT be back here any more because of the attitude that was received by former owner Joe over a five minute lateness. Not even a hello, I got "I can't shampoo your hair now, twenty minutes for an appointment, your five minutes late, one of the other girls can do it." If anything, I have been EARLY for my appointments through out the years and never late once. He couldn't give leeway for ONE TIME being late for all my years of being a customer here? My dad has actually MISSED There's no reason he couldn't do it. I said to him I didn't need his attitude, and that it wasn't called for. He called me out on having an attitude. I said, "Really Joe? After all the times I have been here, you're going to give me a problem over this?" I got NO response. I told Joe he should hang it up if he can't take changes to the schedule over five minutes. I saw Helen (The manager and REAL owner of the business) and I asked her in the parking lot since when did Joe become such a haircut Nazi and explained the situation. He came to the door and said "Helen, do you want him off the property?" Meaning threatened with the police. I told him to mind his own business. He said, "It is my business." I said "No Joe, it isn't, you sold it!" Also note, the waiting area was empty the whole time that I was there and no other customers were present. Joe should put his scissors back in the draw and keep them there since he can't seem to adapt to changes in a schedule and get bent all out of shape over a five minute lateness. I highly recommend AVOIDING Joe's Hairstyling. Especially Joe. A jack of trades, blowhard knowledge of everything except how to treat a customer. I would give zero stars unfortunately Yelp requires at least one be given. Read the fine print folks: 20 minutes for a normal hair cut appointment. Don't consider going if you're going to be late, you'll get the barber nazi for sure when you go. At least from Joe, Anyway. By the way - my dad has actually MISSED appointments with no call and no show and no attitude from Joe. Gee, funny, isn't it?"
