"During the Pandemic I got back Into fishing , and started fishing at Curran, some days were exciting , some day were even more exciting. I caught a wide range of fish species there from Bass, Pickerel, Yellow Perch, Black crappies and bluegill. And the lower Curran reservoir is a bit of a walk thru the woods but it’s well worth it if your an avid fisherman!"
"I Actually live on seven-mile rd., and I have a beautiful view of the upper reservoir. 8/11/23 I fished there and caught 3 bluegill and saw a sea snake and it was crazy! walked across the dam and back and saw a great swan. that hissed at me! it was very nice there. I've seen swans attack gooses. its picnic area is small can fit 6 adults *I think* or 12 kids *I Still think* there are no restrooms at the site, you can go to the bathroom in either a bush or the water, I don't really recommend that you should go to the bathroom in the water though. in the winter they suggest that you should stay out of the water because of germs and if you go to the bathroom the water will get more germs. and its very nice."
"Easy hike. We did the Spring lake trail. Trail was well marked but becoming overgrown on the unused portion. Sad to see graffiti on so many trees"
"I enjoyed walking around the marked and unmarked trails. When I went in early July, the air smelled of toasted pine needles, and there was a good amount of insect activity. I did see more trash than I would have liked to in certain areas, especially where people made fires along the shore of the lake. Also would recommend that people be careful not to go too far off the trail; it goes behind people's property and you're liable to get into trouble if you go into someone's yard or farm."
