"I could not be more happy and impressed with Dr. Faroun! He is was so incredibly kind, thorough, professional. He really took the time to evaluate my entire health history, understand my different issues, include me in my care plan, and work on determining my appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. He treated me and my family very holistically and I could not have been more pleased with my experience, and to have a provider that was so caring and efficient!"
"A wonderful doctor - he is as rare as my disease! Dr Faroun is my saving grace. He helped diagnose a very rare disease that I have. Aside from this, he takes the time to answer your questions, understands your concerns and is willing to help in anyway he can. His entire time is welcoming and the environment is wonderful. Definitely recommend seeing him!"
"Dr Faroun is the best doctor I have ever had. He saved my life! This doctor is not only compassionate, but treats you like a member of his family. I cannot tell you how many times he took time out of his busy schedule to call me to ease my concerns. I highly recommend this doctor if you are faced with a difficult diagnosis like cancer."
"Very caring and uplifting. Dr Faroun saved my husband's life. He had stage 3 lung cancer at the age of 36. The news and options were devastating. Walking into Dr Farouns office, we were in shock, crying, and heart broken. After meeting Dr Faroun we left his office feeling hopeful and our spirits were renewed. The cancer is now gone and has stayed gone since treatment. I can't imagine going any where else for cancer treatment. The whole St. Luke's system is absolutely wonderful."
"Dr Faroun and his team Dr Desai and Dr Puc are responsible for my fathers death, not his cancer. These doctors are not "team" doctors, one doctor doesn't know what the other doctor is doing or has done. They are not on the same page and obviously do not discuss the patients case together as a "team". My father died from a blockage. Before the blockage he was slowly starving to death due to the surgery that was told to him necessary, even though all 3 doctors told him and my entire family that he was "cancer free" after the radiation and chemo therapies. Do yourself and/or your loved ones who need treatment for cancer a huge favor, go to a REAL cancer center in Phila, NY, ect.....do not trust the above team! However Dr Andolino, dads radiation onocologist and his team of employees did show professionalism, empathy, care and definitely seemed to know what they were doing. I honestly believe that if my father would have stopped after the chemo and radiation therapy (not have the major surgergy that left him unable to eat and didn't have the 2nd tube feed surgery which caused the blockage), he would have had a good 5 years of quality life, instead of 6 months of pain and suffering. Had he gone to a "REAL" cancer center, who knows maybe could have reached age 90 like HIS father had before passing. Miss you pop-everyday, so sorry didn't push harder for you to go to Memorial Sloan and Kettering Cancer Center!"
