"I love this place, excellent people and my son is very happy"
"This company is very unprofessional I have applied here so many times and the lady that answers the phone sounds like a robot she keeps saying the same thing every few months which is we are reviewing applications and we will get back to you . Most companies will set up an interview or at least pull up your application while you’re on the phone and then set up an interview .They clearly aren’t looking for workers . horrible company that plays games and wastes peoples times . The north Brunswick location is outstanding just STAY AWAY from the Lawrenceville location !!!!!!!"
"I USED to recommend Sovereign to people until they allowed for my Autistic- Non Verbal son to ELOPE! HE was found, down the street at the Professional Hair Salon. I had to open up an Investigation with the STATE against them for neglect as I truly feel that my son was neglected that day. I heard a million excuses as to why he ran out but no resolution or assurance that it will not happen again. It took a week to even get an internal report of the incident, that I didn't really care for because I spoke to the girl that was in charge of RESPITE that day while the cops were still there and she cried to me and apologized so I do not fault her ( the staff) I have PTSD from this incident and have lost ABA services because of their lack of ensuring that an Autistic Center is secure. They also do not have working cameras, so no one can even explain how he eloped. All I know is THANK GOD I got there while she called the cops and I was able to find my son after running around by myself in their parking lot screaming his name. This place has left a bad taste in my mouth. Especially The owner Thelma. Keron was always great but they both should be more responsible and maybe when they hire people in their establishment, they need to ensure they have credentials to watch our special needs children. That is why I opened up an investigation, because now everything is Questionnable with them. YES MY SON WAS FOUND , BUT WHAT IF HE WASN"T BECAUSE THEY WERE CARELESS ? If your child wonders off or doesn't speak, this is the last place you would want them to attend. I had to reach out to the people who I recommended this place to so they can be aware as I would not want this to happen to another family!!! My son is now wearing GPS everyday and gets ABA Services from home. Oh Also, Thelma kept telling me to come see the office AFTER he eloped so I can be sure he can come back. ABSOLUTELY NOT! they already lost him in the first place- something that should have never happened here. The girl working respite said someone from the night before did not lock the door but she also did not check that morning to make sure the door was locked. This was just ridiculous and we lost weeks of services because of careless young people working here!"
"Waited over a month for an evaluation to be authorized for my son. When I got there I was told by the “alleged” therapist that it would take about an hour so, I could run some errands and come back. I was gone for not even 15 minutes and got a call stating that the “therapist” couldn’t conduct any of the evaluation test on my son, because he was “stimming”. I came back in a began to speak with her and my son went to the board and began naming the days of the week as well as the colors. So, I was completely confused at what the issue was also, a therapist that is trained to deal with children on the spectrum, should know ways to calm down a child that is “ stimming”… She tried to say my son required more hours, and I would have to wait for another authorization. However, this company has failed to communicate exactly what is going on. It’s almost been a month since the evaluation and still nothing, as if they do not want to deal with my child at all. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. If your child isn’t high functioning, don’t even waste your time."
"My 15-year-old autistic son attends their after school program. He absolutely loves it. The workers treat him well and are very family oriented. They go above and beyond. 5 Stars all the way."
