Team Velvet, Inc.

Team Velvet, Inc. is a non-mounted horse therapy charity located at 79 Old Clinton Road in Flemington, New Jersey. The institution offers equine-assisted mental health services for children ages 5-12 who have experienced emotional trauma and adjustment issues. Founded in 2009, Team Velvet Inc. is an all-volunteer organization that provides therapy and mental health education for children at no cost to families. The institution hosts an annual Visits with Horses Seminar Series for children ages 10-12, focusing on emotional intelligence and resiliency concepts. The program is based on the classic childhood story "Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell. In addition to therapy services, Team Velvet Inc. also participates in national media campaigns to raise awareness about the role of horses in mental health programs. Donations to support the organization can be made via their website or by mail.
