When choices are limited it's because of bad fishing weather or the quality does not meet this shop's standards. So, buy your beef and chicken at the supermarket but come to The Fishery for your fish and help out a small business!"

"I waited all summer to try this place, heard from numerous people they had good fish & chips on Friday. So I finally order all 3 dinner meals which was fish & chips, shrimp & chips and scallops & chips. Fish was over cooked, scallops was baby sea scallops and shrimp was decent. I am from Boston so I had my fair share of good seafood and this was not good seafood. Sry not sry."

"This is a fish market that sells all kinds of seafood including live crab. On Friday nights they offer fried food to take out. You can choose from fish and chips, shrimp and chips, or scallops and chips. The prices are better than at the beach. The fish was done in a puffy batter coating. It was pretty good only I wanted to blot some of the oil out of it. The fries are made from extruded potato, but still pretty good. They hold up better than fries made from cut potatoes because they hold up better in the take-out carton where the steam tends to wilt real fries. Slaw was good; tartar sauce was included. At 5:00 pm there was a one hour wait, and at 6:00 pm other patrons were being turned away due to closing time of 6:30. There was a wait of about a few minutes to pick up my order because the place was very busy. It was the start of a long holiday weekend and the town was already loaded with out-of-towners. If you like batter, this is the place. If you prefer the crumb coating, you will be better off elsewhere."
