"My son had a session with Kristen Pettinato. She assured him that they could work together, explaining the strategies that she would implement during future appointments. Three weeks went by and Kristen never responded to his request for another appointment. Kristen finally contacted him and said that she thought that someone else would be better suited to work with my son, and stated that she would provide contact information for another therapist. It was not until I called the office, left a message, and completed a contact form online that she finally got in touch with my son. When someone is ready to get the assistance they need, it is rather unprofessional to leave them hanging. Kristen behaved unethically and should be ashamed of herself. I would strongly suggest that you do not risk your mental health with someone like her, or a practice that employs such a "therapist"."
