"All this place does is have the psychiatric department give medication with no other course of treatment. It’s pathetic especially when you’re trying to better yourself. I can’t tell you how many medication changes I’ve had. Oh yeah and then when your doctor wants to see you the following month scheduling tells you they’re unavailable for 2 months out. That doesn’t help especially when I’m on a what seems never ending waiting list for months to get even virtual psychotherapy. Today I’m shopping for other psychiatric departments. This place gets worse by the year"
"No meds for over a month, suddenly wont do virtual visits with me even though Im a half hour away and its known I don't have a car, Suddenly don't take my insurance and charged me $210 and don't ever answer phone-calls or MyChart messages. You're genuinely better dealing with med management with your primary doctor instead if its an option for you and they even suggest doing so and being discharged from your therapist"
"As someone noted who previously left a comment, I would not give this location ANY stars unless I thought it would be included in the ratings calculation. This is the worst practice I have ever dealt with, and considering it is associated with mental health, you would expect MUCH BETTER service. I have asked for assistance IN PERSON, TALKING DIRECTLY TO SOMEONE, and LEAVING VOICEMAILS; NOTHING is still getting done regardless of numerous follow-ups I've done. I might as well be talking to a brick wall. I have been an Inpatient at St Luke's Quakertown and in their Partial Hospitalization Program (Chew St) and would highly recommend both of those locations, but not this one. I am still trying to speak to someone in Admin who can get things done for me since no one else on staff can seem to do their jobs except a person called Aubrey, who I wish could take care of all the things I need done. If it weren't for also dealing with Short Term Disability for my job, I would have already switched providers. Look somewhere else for better service and for people who actually CARE about your mental health."
"My first and only visit deserves zero stars. Went to obtain medications as my last psychiatrist was no longer an option under my insurance. The resident psych pulled out the DSM-V on me and proceeded to tell me how I didn't know what my own issues were and I didn't fit the criteria for conditions I have multiple formal diagnoses on. Rude, dismissive and attempted to misdiagnosis me. Difficult to self advocate when some is brow beating you with a DSM-V as if it's the Bible on mental health. Don't recommend for anyone."
"Trust me, one star is generous Listen up. A family member of mine is a patient of a Dr. (who will remain nameless because of any repercussions) Bethlehem Brodhead office. She has been calling for 6 working days to speak to someone to request to talk to the Dr. about her recent med change. She is severely depressed with high anxiety She starting fading away, not leaving her bedroom. I called myself on her behalf. Every phone number of every office they have just answering machines. How lovely they tell you to call 911 or go to the er in an emergency. It would not have been an emergency if the Dr. would have called her back. I am reporting this to help others. Choose a different facility. This one is neither compassionate or professional."
