Madison Bagel Cafe

"Friends live in the area so I tend to frequent this bagel store when in town- which is a result of there being no other options nearby. I truly feel for the people in Madison as I almost always regret my order after placing it... the clerks make it seem as though you are inconveniencing them, barely acknowledging your existence and don't hand you your cup if you're ordering a coffee. Nowhere should it be 15-20 minutes for you to get a bagel with bacon and eggs on it. And if you decide to get ketchup on it as well, it's smothered."

"First time trying the place and I ordered 3 bacon egg and cheeses all on different Bagels. None of them were in the least bit appetizing. The bagels were terrible, stale is a compliment to these bagels. Any other bagel place in the area has a better bagel than that. The egg was very below average as well. It was overcooked and looked like it was microwaved. Moving on there was nothing to identify as cheese on any of the sandwiches. Save your money and go to literally any other bagel place in the area."

"Cannot get enough of Madison Bagel coffee and bagel sandwiches! Love the serve yourself coffee setup, and the bagels are fantastic. Get them with a egg, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It's not at all oily, it's great. Only thing would be a nice adjustment-- if the staff were a bit more upbeat and welcoming. Thanks for great food and outdoor seating!"

"Decent but don't get a "panini". I ordered a Cuban and it came unpressed and not grilled - so the bread was soggy and the sandwich fell apart. Disappointing bc the inside was tasty. Bagels/donuts are always good. Just don't go here for lunch."
