"Sat at the bar. Excellent service. Food awesome. Mussels in white wine sauce. Yummy oysters on the half shell. Side salad cold and fresh. Haddock fish and chips really good and bouibaise excellent with a ton of perfectly cooked seafood and half a lobster. Spectacular dinner experience."

"First time here. Remy, our server, was absolutely attentive and amazing. Oysters, lite necks and the seafood bouilaise were out of this world. Cocktails were perfect. Manager checked on us, busboy was right on top of everything. Must go-to in Providence. Oh and the calamari. "

"We discovered the Providence Oyster Bar after a Google search for best restaurants in Providence. We were not disappointed in the least! We jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of their Daily Happy Hour. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly and very accommodating hostess, we knew this place was very special. Immediately we ordered oysters and clams on the half shells at a Buck a Shuck. They were presented perfectly shucked and ready to enjoy. Next were the $7 appetizers. Clams Casino and Oysters Rockefeller make our taste buds jump with joy! If that weren't, enough, we couldn't resist the steak tacos. We concluded our culinary extravaganza with cappuccino and sambuca. I would like to conclude this review mentioning our server, Kaley. She is an incredible delight, Extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive ... always there when we needed her. We live on the Cape and will always include the Providence Oyster Bar whenever our travel plans take us to Providence!"

"We dined with Christian and had both an incredible meal and incredible service. The food was absolutely delicious and we were there during appy hour and got the muscles and calamari and they were fantastic and were an incredible deal for having both for 8$ each. We got the lobster roll and two drinks each (there were two of us dining) as well and that plus the drinks were also delicious. Christian our waiter was incredibly attentive, kind, and personal with us and elevated our experience immensely. It was a lovely night and we will be back sometime soon!"
