"Hi Nick and Team, My name is Marchella, and both myself and my significant other, had met with Nick after finding rentals online, listed through Nick himself. On the day in which we were going to see one of the rentals, my significant other and I waited nearly one full hour outside of the rental; we sat there patiently. Following the first rental property, Nick then brought us to a second. Nick had communicated with both myself and significant other that the second property we had seen, would be a property we could absolutely rent and move into. Nick contacted our employers, spoke to one of the employers on the phone, and stated to us through text message, that he would be sending the lease through email. In this exchange, we had told another property manager, that we would not be moving forward with their rental/process due to finding another. Shortly after, Nick never communicated with us. The lease was never sent, no phone call was provided, and multiple texts were ignored. We were left believing we had a rental, only to experience no communication from Nick himself regarding the process. As adults, and as a former teacher myself, this is not appropriate work place communication. Nick’s actions, or lack there-of, directly impact others (e.g. decision making process, inability to commit to another property that was available where we are seeking to relocate). This is all interconnected with a person’s inability to be forthcoming, and truthful. I write this for your team and those directly related to the circumstance, to reflect upon, with the potential to shift current work place culture, communication, honesty and navigation. Communication, is key. Thank you, Marchella P.S. I am asked to "rate". The rating, doesn't matter to me, it's the truth in the experience and teaching, that does."
"Perfect place if you like space...3 living rooms ( to let the kids be kids and watch what they wanna watch), perfect beach within walking distance , with a park for the kids right on the beach. The neighbors complained about my dog barking ( first time we brought her on vacation and closed her crate door) . However, Craig ,the realtor from Randall's called me to let me know and suggested we let her roam freely through the house ....it seemed to work out well ...no complaints I believe after that. So overall I recommend it,, and I would definitely stay again due to Craig's professionalism in handling a sticky situation. Thanks Craig!"
"renee cooper was great to work with. she made the home buying experience less stressful. the seller of the property was so unprofessional but she held her ground and helped us in getting our first house. she is such a delight to talk to. felt more like family then an agent."
"We have used other rental agents in the past for our property in Narragansett but none have compared with the high level of service we have received with Randall. Our agent Emma makes sure we are kept up to date with speedy communications and has been very aggressive with marketing our property. We a extremely happy and would recommend Randall Realtors to anyone looking for a real estate company."
"My experience with Randall Realtors was an unfortunate set of circumstances that could have easily been avoided had they done their job to begin with. My family and I rented a property in Rhode Island for a week in June. We had paid for the property well in advance. We received a phone call a week prior to our check in date from the agent that booked the property for us. She stated that the homeowner was unaware that the house was being rented for that week and had scheduled for an electrician to come in and do work on the home the day of our check in. This delayed our check in date one day. We were offered to change our stay to a Sunday to Sunday and the homeowner was willing to allow us to stay till that Monday. I advised the agent that it would be unlikely for us to change our stay since most of us only took time off of work till that Saturday. We were told since we were being delayed a day that we could check in at 9AM on Sunday. So after the two hour drive down, we picked up our keys at the office, which luckily someone was there early since the office actually does not open till 10AM. When we got to the home where we noticed a car in the driveway. We knocked on the door and when no one answered, we keyed into the front door. As we were opening the door, a women blocked us, asking who we were. We explained that we were the family renting the property for the week. She stated she was the homeowner and we we're not to check in until noon. Her husband then met me outside and said there must have been a miscommunication and that he told the real estate agency that we would not be able to check in until noon. He told us they came down the day before because there was work being done on the house and decided to stay the night and they still needed to get the house ready for us. So, with two toddlers that needed diaper changes and hungry, in the car we were given the beach pass to go spend time at the beach till noon. I immediately called the realtors and spoke with a different agent since the women in charge of this property was not in. I informed him that we had already lost a day that we paid for and now we are being delayed again because of miscommunication between the realtors and the homeowners. I asked that we be refunded for the missed day due to this inconvenience. He stated he would pass the information on to the property agent. We continued our stay to our final day, Saturday, and checked out before 9AM. The realtor office does not open till 10AM so we left the keys in the drop box for early check outs. Over the course of the next few months, countless phone calls, voicemail and e-mails were sent to the property agent. Every time was a different answer, whether she thought her office assistant took care of it, or it was in the works, it will be taken care of in a few days, then it turned into the home owner doesn't want to refund you. In August I received an e-mail stating the homeowner did not want to refund us because he claimed his electrician went to do work that Sunday but could not because we were there; of which we were not. We had checked out the previous day. I informed the agent of this and she stated that at this point she would have to wait until her manager returned to work. Two months later, approximately 4 months of back and forth, I was told that it was agreed upon that the homeowner and manager would not be refunding me for the one day because the homeowner claims we were there for the full seven days and that we were offered an alternative and did not take it. Despite telling the realtor that we could not do a Sunday - Sunday stay and wanted a refund, and the fact that we did vacate the property on the Saturday check out date, we were denied a refund based on a lie. It appears to me the real estate agency did not do their job to check the property was vacated or the keys were turned in so they could advise the homeowner that we indeed leave on that Saturday. It is unfortunate that they could not refund for a day that we paid for and did not receive. Would not refer them. DCP complaint."
