"I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else."
"Buck and Matt took my 1980 911SC in for a top end rebuild, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Took time out to show me the steps, pointed out the things they’d found along the way and were laser focused on making sure I was a part of the process and happy. The very high standard of workmanship is reflected in the finished product and my 911 has been completely transformed in the way it drives and sounds. If you’re a 911 owner considering having work done, I would talk to Buck and Matt first."
"New to the area, and I called to inquire about if they had the capability of mounting tires on wire wheels and received such an attitude that I won't be taking my car there regardless of his "...forty years of experience"."
"Purchased my first European vehicle last year. Tires on it were adequate to get me thru this spring. However, now was the time for a change and so ordered a nice set on Tire Rack. Wanted an experienced repair shop to handle this. Had a miserable experience some years ago with a shop that use an impact wrench shearing off the lug completely. Since then have always asked whether a torque wrench(much preferred) or an impact wrench was used. This question never caused an issue...until now. When I asked Buck this there was a pause. Then he read me the riot act. Saying that the mere asking of this question was tantamount to asking a surgeon if he washed his hands prior to heart surgery. Whew! Then he gave me chapter and verse regarding his 40yr. experience working on the finest of European motors. I attempted to assuage him by relating my prior bad experience and that my question was not intended as an insult. At that he said he didn't put on tires purchase outside his shop. Then hung up. Long & the short of it my next call went to another shop. Same question again and it was politely answered. Buck does have a fine rep for quality work(I WAS referred by one of his previous clients). But like Tom Pickles several years ago Buck does have an issue with questions he feels are "beneath his dignity". For the record. I've dealt with cancer surgeons and oncologists. Asked many questions I'm sure they've answered scores of times and was always treated professionally and politely. To compare himself to them is beyond ludicrous and insulting. He should be called out on this and now has."
"I'm sorry Josh had a bad experience but I have been so pleased with the service I've received from Buck and his mechanics that I'd give them more stars if I could. First, Buck doesn't need this review or to market his business. He's been around for years, has an excellent reputation, and is always very busy. He takes time to explain what the car needs and why in a relaxed, friendly, and unhurried manner. He knows I am here on vacation but has always treated me like I lived around the corner. I literally could not be happier with the service I've gotten at European Imports Service. To top things off, Buck's crew is among the friendliest I have ever experienced. I wish I lived closer so I could bring my E-46 BMWs here for regular servicing."
