Reviews of WaterFire
"This was my first time coming to see WaterFire, overall I was a little underwhelmed. I mean don't get me wrong it was cool to see but a little boring in my eyes, Once the fires were lit that was it, there was one woman swinging a fire baton at the beginning but that was all. Me and my husband did a boat tour late at night which was cool, half hour ride around the water. There were so many people, so waiting in line at the vendors for food as crazy, thankfully I pre ate. I thought the people who dress up as statues were really cool. The few staff members I spoke to were really nice. I just expected more was all."
"We've gone to WaterFire every year for many years at least once per season. We love the vendors, the food trucks and the whole atmosphere ahead of the main show. The show at sunset is different every year and this year was no exception. Great showcase of the arts and so many small businesses. My kids and I love it and we look forward to coming down from Massachusetts every year."
"This is an amazing event in Providence which brings all the communities around together for a wonderful experience. The bonfires, the lit kayaks, wonder food and drink stalls, events, and a place bustling with people from different communities and cultures makes sure that you will have a wonderful experience. Hats off to the volunteers and the people who donate to the NGO, that we get to experience this every year. A lot of parking options around if you don’t get street parking. If you haven’t been to it yet, you should definitely go and enjoy it !"
"It's surprisingly good. Nice water front walkway but short. The water fire is fun for all ages. I saw little babies were very exiting when the fire pits lite up & koi fish lantern kayak rows by."
"First off this only the setup part, i promise to add pictures of the fire itself next time. But just to be there around 6 pm was nice, everyone getting ready, the vendors and the customers. The water fire was to start at 8:30. most vendors were open some getting ready. As you can see there are a a lot of people already sitting in the best places to watch."
