"Our favorite breakfast spot! The pancakes are excellent and when you order extra crispy bacon it actually comes extra crispy."
"This is a tough one. Let's start with the wait. I got seated quick but then it was a long wait until someone came by. I noticed people waiting and waiting at their tables to be helped and to check out. The servers seemed lost, like they didn't know which tables they were responsible for. The food. I ordered streusel pancakes. The pancakes tasted great, but they hardly had anything on them. I felt ripped off as I could have had the short stack and saved $3+. With a little more focus from the servers to the cooks & I would add a star. While my experience wasn't the best, the pancakes did taste great. I'll be back to try something else. I hope it gets better."
"It's a cute hidden spot in Ardmore right near the train station (hence the name). It was a bit crowded since it is a tight space due to it being small inside so tables were close together to one another. Wish they had more room to space the tables out a bit away from each other. We walked in at a good time since we happened to get the last available table. The only bad thing about where we sat was it was by the door so as people came in they gathered to wait right there by the door next to us and it felt like they were right on top of us. But you can tell it's a popular place to come and eat because of how busy it was and the fact people were willing to wait for a table to open up. Waitress was pleasant and came by our table a few times to offer us a coffee refill as we waited for our breakfast. Although it was a bit of a wait until we got served our food the food was good and served warm."
"This beautiful little hidden gem was a treat to ear at. The service is great with friendly staff. The food is good and at a fair price. The freshness blew me away. This is a treat for your tastebuds. We built our own omelette, had the Crab Benedict and sampler French toast. Smores, Cinnamon toast crunch and Very berry. Awesome!!!!!"
"Stop the train and get me some more of that bacon! The Ardmore Station Café is a small venue attached to the Ardmore train station. They crank out great breakfast and the kind of high quality coffee that has kept the trains running on time for 100 years. Saturday morning at 8:30 AM and my companion and I have branched out of Havertown. Today we’re in Ardmore - a suburb of Havertown. Easily accessible by train, the Ardmore Station Café is located on the second floor above the actual station. All surfaces are spotlessly clean and the chrome on the salt and pepper shakers shines. The café is essentially one large, probably drafty, tile floored room. It has a high-ceiling with mismatched tiles and a skylight. If you are looking for ambiance then stay on the train. If you’re looking for delicious food, creative French Toast combinations, high-octane premium coffee and bacon that melts in your mouth; then you have come to the right train station. I ordered the toasted coconut pancakes with a never ending serving of that premium java. My companion, overwhelmed by the French Toast choices, ordered the Sampler. She got three different kinds of French Toast to sample. She chose: Peanut Butter & Banana, Speculoos Stuffed and S’mores. And of course we ordered a side of bacon. Did I mention the bacon already? Thick cut and cooked to the perfect crumble factor! Breakfast for two with extra bacon and coffee was just under $20. There was plenty of seating at 8:30, but by 9:AM there might have been a short wait. If you’re looking for a fancy Epicurean tryst then you should never eat at a train station. But if you’re looking for great food at a great price in a uniquely local setting then park your caboose at the Ardmore Station Café. TheBillo313"
