"I am posting this review on behalf of my parents. In the beginning of December they went to Allentown Appliance for a new dishwasher & refrigerator. Their salesman Ed was great & the purchasing experience was good. The delivery teams for both items were great. However, after delivery of the refrigerator they realized it wasn't working. Food & perishable items went bad & or melted. The "women" in the office at Allentown Appliance are: rude, curt, sarcastic, & unsympathetic. My mother asked who'd be responsible for aprox $50 worth of spoiled food. Neither Allentown Appliance or Frigidaire will take blame! Allentown Appliance had to come back out to take that refrigerator & return it to Frigidaire & Allentown Appliance gave them a "sub" refrigerator for the time being, which was for about 3 weeks. My mother would call the office asking for updates & such regarding a new version of the same model refrigerator & the women were horrible, nasty, & at one point had my mother in tears after hanging up. All she wanted was updates on the status of the new "working" model & who would reimburse the lost food. With food prices now of days it is a great loss for them. Allentown Appliance blames Frigidaire & Frigidaire blamed Allentown Appliance. Allentown Appliance your customer service needs work we're sorry to say, for some of your staff. After all of this they are sorry for ever going to this business for their new appliances. This situation should have been handled more professionally! Do better..."

"I just purchased a dishwasher and there was an issue with the electrical system in my house. They didn’t leave me hanging and had an electrician stop by to sort it out. Their staff and service was very helpful, highly recommend. PS I’m never buying an appliance from a big box store ever again."

"We purchased a "floor model" Kitchen Aid refrigerator and dishwasher. The refrigerator has had problems multiple times. Honest Appliance who came out to service is top notch but after replacing every board in the unit, two weeks later it is not working. The refrigerator compartment will not drop below 49 degrees. Contacted the store and the repair people but they are backlogged and after over a week have not received a call to schedule a repair. They said we had 90 days to return it but when it broke down the first time and we said we just wanted to return they said we couldn't had to try repair first. Well we tried multiple times to repair. The unit is a lemon and needs to be replaced. UPDATE: After a week and a half of radio silence my wife called and was informed we were getting a new replacement. Will have to wait a week or two for it to arrive but I'll take it! Raises them to 3.5 stars for good customer service. Would be 4.5 if not for the poor communication."

"Just had our new refrigerator delivered and we couldn't be happier. Bob and Mike were the most professional delivery guys I've ever dealt with. We've had awful experiences buying from Lowes in the past so this was refreshing. They laid down sheets to keep our house clean and quickly installed and explained everything. Salesman Al was extremely easy to work with too. We will definitely be back when our washer/dryer needs to be replaced and love supporting a local business rather than the big box stores"
