"Fast and friendly service, cozy atmosphere, but mixed feelings about the food. For breakfast, I ordered an iced latte, an egg and bacon kolache, and a cherry kolache. I loved the egg and bacon one, but the cherry kolache I was disappointed with. I'm having a "My Czech grandma's kolaches were better" moment here. It had a different flavor and texture than I was expecting. Before I left, I bought a dozen. A mix of apple, poppyseed, Bavaria cream, and cherry to share with family for Christmas. They came to the same conclusion. Not saying Cafe Kolache is bad, just different from what we're used to."
"We tried twice at the Cafe once during lunch hours and another time during breakfast. So we were able to try both their breakfast and lunch kolaches. We tried gyro from their lunch menu, cheese egg sausage jalapeños and cheese egg bacon from their breakfast menu. Other than that we tried double chocolate and cream cheese Kolach as well and they are scrumptious. About drinks we tried 3 musketeers both the times it was just perfect. Even the balance of coffee and chocolate was better than Starbucks with the perfect amount of sweetness. They do sale the kolaches from a day before at flat 40% off. I would like to try their biscotti perhaps the next time. They have a old town heritage restaurant feel as far as the ambiance goes. The parking at rush hours on weekend would be a little challenging. We had challenges when we went during the lunch time on Saturday. Morning are better I would say. Also they run out of items very fast so it is likely that you would not get want you want if you are late. There are seating area but the restaurant is mostly popular with take out. If you want you can eat in once after getting your order. The service is very good and every service person is really wonderful. The view from the restaurant is good as well. But I donot think that they have high chair so if you have a small child you may not eat in. The items in their menu is not expensive. We were billed under 25 for two people both the times with 15% tip. I would highly recommend the restaurant."
"I just walked and stopped by, but such a good atmoshpere and cozy place with perfect music. The desserts and drinks are also good."
"I’d been meaning to check this place out for a while and I’m so glad I finally did. Everyone working there was nice and friendly, the cinnamon twist was delicious, and the vibe was very relaxed and cozy."
"My go to place to work from home in the morning with a fresh French Press and kolache. I usually go for the Poppyseed kolache, but the cinnamon rolls are hard to resist! Kolache does large orders, best to call ahead of time, for your office or holiday parties. Extremely tasty and affordable!"
