"After being a faithful patient to this practice for almost 22 years, I was hoping to return to the same exceptional patient care & service I was accustomed to when I moved back to the area after a few years away. How wrong I was to do so! It's obvious that new management is very different, and not in a good way. Almost 2 weeks ago, I used DSD's website to schedule an appointment. Due to insurance reasons, I needed an appointment before the end of the year. 2 days before my scheduled appointment, the office called to inform me that they could not honor my appointment because the slot I booked was never available to begin with. This confused me because I had been texting back and forth with the office in order to schedule the appointment, communicate insurance info, etc. As it turns out, they use a third party scheduling service and the only explanation they could offer was that this service was deeply flawed and made the mistake of booking myself and many other people for appointments that were never available. The receptionist I spoke to told me that if I had called the office, then I would have been able to avoid this situation. How on earth was I supposed to know that? As of the time this review is published, there is absolutely nothing on the DSD website to indicate that you need to call the office to make an appointment and not use their online service (which, by the way, is still up and running on their website). I've never experienced this office so disorganized; from giving the illusion that I was texting directly with the receptionists, to the phone call I had when all this information was dropped on me, to blaming me for not knowing to call the office instead of going online for an appointment. I was furious that I had to find out 2 days before my scheduled appointment that it could not be honored, when I had booked my slot almost 2 weeks prior. I needed an appointment before the new year, and now I don't even have time to find a new dentist. Safe to say, I will not be returning to this office as long as it is under the current management."
