"I want to start off with saying that I left by my 4th appointment. I went to all my appointments and was always on time and ready but by my 2nd I knew this therapist wasn't for me. Also no one asked why I left so I'm writting why here so someone can make changes. On the first day I knew my therapist and I did not have chemistry but I said to myself everyone has bad days give her another chance. On the first day she was late by about 5 min which personally, I can't stand because its a professional environment. She would end up being late to start every appointment the last one being the most at 8 min. And no we did not stay late to make up for it. It says appointments are 45-55 min my first one was maybe 30. Second was 35, 3rd was 42, 4th we actually were in this time frame surprisingly. But the 3rd and 4th ones she left for about 5 min to print stuff so take it as you will. She said by the 4th one we'll be tackling the issues that's why I stayed for 4. Anyways, we go into the first appointment she asks me a bunch of questions some of which I don't understand and I got responses of "it's x I don't know how to explain it." Umm it's your job to explain it or am I crazy? She also gave me a bunch of papers to fill out that were filled out during the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd appointments and that's what the appointments were. By appointment 2 she said if i have questions just skip it. Guess my questions were too much? Not sure. Either way filling out papers appointment 1 I understand, but by appointment 2 you have my email and I could've done this as homework at home, yet, instead I'm wasting 40 dollars to come see you guys. The appointments themselves were very quiet we talked very little. Most talking was it's a 40 dollar co-pay how would you like to pay? The reason why I went to therapy was not to sit in mostly silence and then be told to pay by the same person that stared at a computer for almost the entire session. Appointment 4 she seemed upset and I asked her how was her day to which she responded, " s___ different day." Oh joy now I feel burdensome coming here. She printed some papers for me to read I would discuss the "try me" parts of these papers with her and there was very little discussion. Mostly an okay cool. Afterwards I tried to get a new therapist however like the other comments say no one answers the phone. Called 2 days and then I was like screw it I'm gonna cancel. Didn't answer for another 2 days and then I ended up emailing everyone i could to say I'm cancelling because I didnt want to get charged again. Hopefully, Tiffany Griffiths takes my review seriously and into consideration and anyone reading this does as well. Edit: As of 9/13/23 I did hear back from someone in the office to talk about my experience. She was nice and apologized for my experience."
"Disgusting and lacks emotathy for anyone suffering with mental health issues. I was seeing Michael for about 3 week's then he all sudden called me saying they no longer accept my insurance. What a lie as they billed my insurance company and was paid for services. Then they tell my insurance that Michael left that's the reason. What a joke. This place is disgusting and should be closed and hopefully the department of mental health closes them. They should be ashamed of themselves."
"They don't send reminders for appointments. They say other places do it to be curtious.. I guess there not. They never answer the phone. And want you to Pay at appointments with a credit card with They add 4 percent to the bill. If you have them bill you. You have to chase them down for the bill"
"They’re more worried about getting paid than helping people who really need the help. I guess they don’t follow the same code of ethics real doctors have. *in response to their response: First off, those 3 1/2 sessions I missed we’re all in a very short time in the past nearly 2 years I was seeing Robert. First with couples, then on my own. It will also stated to Robert how much of a bad place I was in. The last two specifically, I had told him I may not show up to those two. After all of our time together you would think that he would understand when his patient is extremely suicidal. And when I was coming out of that especially dark time frame I had expressed that to him as well as the fact that I felt somewhat betrayed for just dropping me when he should have known. I’m not wasting other peoples times who are committed, He had switched our session times at least five times since I began. I never once was I told I had to call the office to reschedule either. He just said see you next session. If I had known that, I absolutely would have because I was scheduled twice a week which was very necessary, I stated multiple times I would’ve tried to schedule five days a week if I could. I was going through some extremely dark times and then ironically while we’re working on trust issues he drops me like a bad habit. Thanks for initiating this exasperating setback on me. Not to mention all that time spent and I never even got so much as a diagnosis. He didn’t have a problem excepting a personal gift from me thanking him for the help halfway through though. Completely unethical, just like trying to make everyone who leaves a bad review look like an idiot. Oh and if I failed to pay anything, how come I never got billed? Did the insurance cover it? They must have because you never sent me a bill or do you not do billing either?"
"I called a few months ago and never heard anything back. I figured okay maybe they’re just super busy. So a couple months later I called again and someone finally got back to me after about 48 hours. I asked to see either Dr. Griffiths or Dr. Sam Fitz-Gerald and the lady said there were no openings/ they weren’t accepting new patients. I completely understand, it’s a rough time for all. I had told the lady I just lost my insurance and I really need help. She said “okay what insurance are you going to be applying for?” I said “Medicaid” and she said “okay because you wouldn’t want to start with someone, find out they don’t accept that and have to start over” and then she asked me who else I would want to see. Instead of telling me who there would accept Medicaid, she asked me “who else would you like to see?” And I said, “Sarah Albright?” And she very quickly said Sarah doesn’t accept that. Instead of telling me who there accepts Medicaid and give me a list so I could look on the website and get back to them, I was left with no resources and told to call back once I get some names of people whose profiles I liked. This lady expected me to call back, with a list of names, and she said she would tell me who accepts and who doesn’t accept Medicaid. I even said to this lady I’m really struggling and need help with testing for adhd and autism. She still told me to call back with a list of names. I will not be calling back."
