"I arrived well on time for my consultation appointment, but ended up waiting half an hour for someone to see me. When the therapist took me in to see me, I felt pretty disrespected overall. I wrote down my preferred name and pronouns on the paperwork and told her I am trans, but was still repeatedly misgendered. Being someone who is not in a good space mentally and needs help, I at least wanted to feel listened to and welcomed."

I have been in counseling for mental health reasons for 20 years now, and have experienced many new counselors, some good, some bad. Like always, it took sometime for me to get comfortable, but after a I opened up, it has become one of the best experiences of my 20 years of counseling. My counselor has helped me through a multitude of trauma, and loss. She calls me out when I'm playing the victim, and has helped me become the person I am today."

"The appointment was scheduled at 345. We waited an hour to be seen for only 5 minutes to be told an assessment wouldn't be possible as they were "out of time". They were out of time because of their poor scheduling as we had arrived earlier than the appointment time. We could hear people screaming during their counseling through a locked door and down a hall. How are you supposed to work through your issues when everyone can hear your business? We came home scheduled an appointment somewhere else and will NEVER be back. NEVER. This place is the farthest I have ever seen from an environment that promotes healing."
