Reviews of Alpacas of Sunshine Farm
"We loved our tour of the alpaca farm. I spoke to Don on the phone to arrange a time, but Catherine was the one who gave us the personal tour. We had a baby, and it was easy to get around with our baby in a carrier. We had a lovely time walking around, learning about alpacas and their life on the farm. You can tell they are really well cared for. If you're lucky, you'll also get to meet their friendly dog Addie. Their gift shop also sells some really fun and interesting items. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you Catherine and Don!"
"The farm is beautiful, the owner is lovely, and the alpacas are so cool. Believe it or not, the part I’m so happy about is, my husband bought me a pair of their alpaca socks from their gift shop. I have never in my life had socks this comfortable, warm, and springy. I’m going to get back there and get some more."
"Beautiful place to visit for the whole family. Owners are so nice and patient! First greeted by addy, then we meet lucy, and whole bunch more kind and friendly alpacas! We saw the material that comes from their sheerings, and some final products. (Happy dance)"
"The owner was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and gave us a personal walking tour of the farm. We got to go right into the alpaca pens to see them up close - beautiful creatures, inquisitive, and pleasant! Really nice wares in the store. Masks required - a plus - and made us feel very safe and comfortable with the experience. Great place to spend an hour in the PA countryside!"
"Call before you go to make sure its ok to visit. There is also a shop to buy goods made of alpaca fur! The woman who owns the farm was very friendly and told us a lot about alpacas. I learned a lot and had a great experience!"
