"I called for a consult and the woman I spoke with was patronizing, and she said they don't accept Highmark BCBS insurance because Highmark is difficult to work with. She recommended I get in touch with Highmark to see which providers they cover instead of reaching out to individual care providers. I've never heard of a health provider in Pgh not accepting BCBS. Apparently the only insurance OCD Spectrum accepts is commercial UPMC, so don't bother getting in touch unless that's what you have. 3 stars because I have to give a rating and I didn't actually experience treatment from OCD Spectrum, but the intake/consult was disappointing and unhelpful."

"I had a family member who was getting treatment here. They had to cancel for a family emergency. They cancelled the day before but not 24 hrs before. The next day about 5 minutes before the appointment time they got a message saying they would be charged 100$ for the cancellation! At this time it was too late to make the appointment or make any changes to attempt to make the appointment because loosing 100$ at this time was a huge hardship to them. I do not think this excessive missed appointment fee is ethical. Now they no longer are seeking therapy because they suffered such a financial loss and hardship from this they do not trust or feel safe with this counselor."
