"Sometimes picking up the phone is the hardest part in asking for help. Upon reaching out to the Counseling and Wellness Center, I was greeted promptly with compassion, kindness, and flexibility within the clinicians schedule to come in for an intake appointment. They provided me with both options of telehealth and in person sessions as well as a convenient location in close proximity to my home. I then began therapy with Sandee several months ago and am so thankful I took the initiative to get the help that I needed. She provides a safe space where I can be vulnerable and transparent without feeling judged. She offers insight, guidance, and suggestions on how I can better cope with life’s challenges. So quickly I established trust and rapport within the therapeutic relationship. She offers a non biased perspective that allows me to view things differently and effective tools to help combat negative thoughts and symptoms of anxiety.
