"I found these people at the right time. My therapist, Josh is outstanding and listens to me and is always working with me to resolve however I am feeling that day. I would recommend 1000 times over."
"I have been using the services of JP Counseling for close to 3 years now. I have had good results with the use of EMDR therapy with Linda Hicks. I don't know where I would be today if not for her help & guidance. I highly recommend using their services."
"To be fair, I would have liked to given the ownership and the office personnel a 5.They work with me on things and went well over the top of their job duties to satisfy my issue.. I was in several car accidents, in a matter of a few years. Causing physical and emotional issues. I developed a fear of driving in high traffic areas and long distances. Meanwhile, life happens and I had a few other issues that I wanted to work on with a qualified therapist. I received 10 hours of therapy and I was satisfied with my results, on me getting over the fear of driving. I'm more confident and comfortable with my driving abilities. What happened next, I decided to give JPCounciling/therapy bussiness a rating of 1. I was trying to open up about some other personal issues that seemed to weigh on me. I wanted the therapist to hear my issues and treat them as she did with the driving abilities. As I opened up and poured out my personal information. My thoughts and feelings were difficult to speak of but I pushed on. Something changed with my therapist. I felt incredibly insulted and dismissed by what was determined with her diagnosis with little facts to go on. I barely got into the root causes of my issues. At that time, I was told that I would be better suited to speak with a male therapist. I was a bit confused and taken back by the change in her behavior. I thought if a patient needed the help by a therapist. What difference does the gender make. Wouldn't one think a professional therapist would be able to help you out with any situation. Especially when she was so eager to help me with the driving issues. In my opinion I would not advise anyone to go to this business, especially if you're a male. I felt incredibly disrespected, abandoned and humiliated by the therapist. As a patient I don't think therapy should make anyone feel this way."
"I used to go to counseling here when I was younger and it was good. Last year I went through a traumatic event and went to this practice to get an ESA form. They met with me once and they told me to sign information over to them from my college counselor. After this they never contacted me or my college counselor and I have made many attempts to call them but they never answered and never called back even after I left my name and number. It has been a year since I met with them. All I wanted was an ESA form."
