"I was referred to Dr Lewis by my primary care doctor as a in network provider with my insurance plan. I called for an appointment back in July of this year for November 15 @ 11:15. I was sent an email to check in and paperwork to fill out the day before the appointment. I filled out all the paperwork and the appointment was confirmed. I arrived at the office for my schedule and confirmed appointment only to have to fill out a ton of more paperwork. After I spend my time filling out all the paperwork, I gave it to the receptionist. At that point, I was told that because I'm a new patient I would have to pay $50 in order to have my information put in the system. I refused to pay $50 for them to do their job. I asked why I was not told this upfront before waisting my time. I left the office and called my insurance and they called and spoke with the office manager Dawn and advised her the the office is contracted with them as a in network provider and therefore should not ask me for money. The office manager still insisted on getting $50 from me upfront for being a new patient. Which I refused to pay. Therefore, I left the office without seeing the doctor. No one could tell me why I wasn't told this beforehand. I feel this was unfair and intended to defraud new patients out of $50. ***new patients be aware*** I would not recommend this Dr."

She and her staff are ALWAYS so friendly, caring, professional and easy to relate to. They just make you feel really comfortable, so you have that added bonus of always feeling at ease with them. I never feel like I am being rushed or that I am not being taken seriously. Everyone really takes the time to make you feel like you are important. I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lewis and her staff! I will forever be a patient of her’s!"
