"I was referred to Dr. Myriam Mondestin-Sorrentino because I had what was considered a high risk pregnancy. This referral quite frankly saved my life! Dr. Myriam is very competent and knowledgeable in her field but beyond that she is extremely caring. During all my visits to her, I had the best care. She would call me during the times when I was not scheduled to see her just to check on me. A week after I delivered she made a call to check on me. This was my third child and the first time I was receiving a call at home from a doctor to check on me. This call saved my life!. During our conversation I disclosed that I was feeling a strange twinge in my chest and she convinced me to go the ER. I was very reluctant but she was persistent so I went. I ended up being admitted for a week! Long story short If I had gone to bed that night I probably wouldn't have woken up. I will forever be grateful to her for her dedication to her work."
