St. Luke's Valley GYN Associates - Quakertown

"be wary of going here if you are transgender. very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. clearly, they have never treated anyone other than cis women. for context, I'm well into my transition, so I have a deep voice and masculine presentation. I was called a woman and treated like a child (i am an adult) by Doctor William Riedel. Asked me if I was getting the surgery (referring to sex reassignment) when the appointment was unrelated, and they dont even do that here. asked various trans related questions when all I wanted was a hysterectomy. When i first called and told them my name, whoever answered skeptically told me that this was an OBGYN, as if i couldn't possibly go here as a man. the people at the front desk are nice, though. 2 stars instead of 1 because at least they tried, and i understand this is *quakertown* we're talking about here. sorry for the bad review, but I was exhausted after being treated as if i am some exotic zoo animal."

"Not sure why the negative reviews, they were absolutely wonderful! Doctor and staff were absolutely wonderful, they took time to listen to my issues and explained in detail the options and possible reasoning behind them! Highly recommend"

"The only person that showed concern was the front desk coordinator, everyone else were dismissive and did not care for my concerns. Protocols were not followed and they did not care that my life was on the line."

"I am not very happy with this office. I have been seeing Dr Reidel for the last six months for a few issues. It was determined I needed a prescription. I have now been taking this medicine for a few months now. I have faithfully gone to follow up visits and paid money each time I have an appointment. Each time I am told the prescription will be updated so I can get my refills but this is now the 2nd time he has not updated my prescription so I can refill it. I have now gone a few days without taking my prescription and not well. I feel this is negligent and unprofessional. I am doing my part and I expect higher standards from a doctor office who should be looking out for my well being. It is my hope that this will improve or I will have to find a different doctor."

"They were definitely behind so I waited awhile but Dr. Artide was fantastic.. let's be honest nobody liked the OBGYN but she made things as fast and as least awkward as possible. Very nice lady who made you feel comfortable. Front staff was great too!"
