"Used to be a great company when it was owned by a company in CA,still good when the Millers bought it,but in the last few yrs the shirt and hat offerings have dwindled, maybe Triumph,Norton etc are enforcing trademarks, now it's mostly pushing Donzilla stuff-the owners custom motorcycle stuff, which doesn't interest me one bit"
"I grew up around motorcycles in the 70's. Like many, a family put that on hold. When I came back after the kids were grown, I googled vintage motorcycle tees and came up with Metro. What a great way to relive the days of my youth. Great quality clothing that sparks many a good memories."
"I recently purchased a Suzuki jersey from metro racing and did get the dead message folks are talking about but did contact Mrs. Peg Miller by e-mail and did receive a phone call from her as well and she explained they are having computer issues which is understandable. The jersey looks and fits great and was here in 2 days. Metro has a lot of kool old school stuff that is hard to find at a reasonable price hope they get there problems solved soon. "This place seems a little sketchy. I placed an order and got an email with an error code instead of a receipt. I tried emailing and calling multiple times with no response. I read the few reviews that have been posted on here and saw that other people may have been scammed so I assumed the same had happened to me. With that being said I got furious and I even went on the IC3 section of the FBI website and filed a complaint about this business possibly being fraudulent. I then sent another email to them saying I reported them and they should prepare to be investigated. To my surprise, this morning, they’ve responded and apologized and said my order was shipped out and they even sent a real order receipt. It took me having to say I contacted the FBI for them to respond so there may possibly still be something going on there. But it did take about a week for them to respond and they never did answer my phone calls. So for that I’m giving them a 3 star rating for poor customer service/experience."
"Ordered four shirts on April 11. Money taken. Emailed a dead link as a receipt. Shut down the web site, don't answer the phones, ignored inquiries on their Facebook page, then shut that down, too. UPDATE: one shirt arrived April 21. ANOTHER UPDATE: Still no word on the other three shirts, and the design on the one I did get is coming off after one washing. UPDATE 3: They're now telling the BBB they contacted me (they didn't), and they never did business with me. My printout from their website and my bank statement say otherwise."
