"We went to donate some good condition and some even unopened toys but they wouldn't take it because there were stuffed animals in the bag as well."

"Great selection, most staff are friendly. Great prices, better than goodwill. It was my first time going there and walked in with 3 kids (2 under 2) and didn't expect there to not be an carts. No big deal, we mananged. But one of the older gentlemen made the rest of the experience extremely difficult. My son found a little trike he liked but I wanted to make sure it fit him and he could figure out how to use the pedals. The older gentlemen came by and said he had to get off so he "wouldn't hurt anyone." I told him I trying to make sure he'd know how to use it(meaning the pedals) and he responded saying "well he knows how to use it, he has to get off" even though he still hadn't had the chance to figure it out. My son cried so I tried to put it up where he couldn't reach, the man still came over saying "that's going to fall" even though it wasn't and tried to take the trike away which made my son cry more so I told him I'd just buy it. My son was focused on the trike being taken away the rest of the time and we had to leave. I understand not riding toys around, but if he had been more polite and given me a chance to handle the situation better, there would have been no problem. The same man was outside when I dropped off donations and seemed extremely unpleasant and off-putting. Other than that it would've been a great experience. I absolutely feel too nervous to bring my kids back in. There was no understanding, patience, or kindness present."

"I somehow seem to find something on every visit! Great prices on books. The store is clean and organized and the staff are always kind. Bargains for all! This location is priced so differently compared to the Greensburg location."

"Can't beat the prices compared to other thrift stores usually. Depends on who is pricing stuff that day, some must think they are running an antique store and the money comes out of their pocket, not donated for free. My biggest problem is the special treatment some of the local dealers get. There is one regular dealer, an older woman, who I've seen escorted to the back with an empty cart and came out with a cart full of items they were saving for her. One of the workers came out later and told her they had an item in the back and asked if she was interested then said "We were going to put (X amount) on it, is that OK?" So not only does she get items before anyone else she also gets to name her price. Must be nice. There is another local dealer with a store in town that has items saved for him also. Anything that looks good to the guy running the back is set aside for him and never sees the sales floor. All he does is back his truck up to the back and loads up with all the stuff his personal shopper saved for him. So basically if they like you then you have it made. If they don't, well you'll never know what you missed because it never made it out of the backroom. There needs to be some more oversight of what goes on there. Certain people there have let a little bit of power go to their heads."
