"Because I lived in East Palestine, an hour away, I went to Advanced women's care in Boardman. Due to the train disaster, I had to move back to Warren area and wanted to re-establish as a patient with Dr. Shipman. They told me because that was "local" that I COULD have gone to them even though it was an hour away!!! They will NOT take me back as a patient. No exceptions. This is WRONG!!! I moved away and now moved back. I wouldn't go back now if they even wanted me to with that kind of customer service treating me like a villian or something!!!!!"

"I love this Dr. I wish she was delivering babies when I had mine. She puts me at ease, answers my questions honestly and is just great."

"Doesn’t listen to what you are explaining to her. I went to her last year and I Asked her for a pregnancy confirmation. I had gotten a positive and my period was way past due. She said it’s not a simple yes or no. The first thing she asked is do I plan on keeping it or do I want an abortion after I had been discussing trying for pregnancy months before. (She seems to be pro abortion) A few weeks later I was in terrible pain and I started bleeding vaginally. I called the office and made an appointment with shipman and she said everything looks to be okay to come back for another appointment after I reassured her I knew something was wrong. She also would not answer me a yes or no for the pregnancy continuing to say “it’s not that simple” after I left the appointment The pain got so bad I had to go to er. Turns out I was having a miscarriage. I never went back to her since. I changed doctors and I now go to Anthony Desalvo and they are amazing. I am due any day now for a lovely baby boy. If I could give her 0 stars I would it was very traumatizing. Not to mention she double charged my insurance multiple times. I would not recommend this lady to anyone."

"After many tries of finding an OBGYN that I liked and after many recommendations from friends, I decided to go to Dr. Shipman. The office is friendly and has a bunch of fun signs and pictures of all the babies once you go in the back. Dr. Shipman has been fantastic about answering all of my questions and explaining things in a way that you understand while also being caring. I was nervous for a procedure I had to have and she took the time to stop getting ready for it and explain what was happening. She also let me know what to expect once I get the results back. I have been to a few different OB/GYN and she is by far my favorite! She even asked if I wanted to come in to discuss the results of the tests after she knew I was anxious about everything. So far,I can’t say enough good things about her!"
