"I inquired about a teaching position with the arch preschool and the director called me late afternoon 9/12/17 and expressed to me she would like to interview me if I had time same day and said she needs to fill the position immediately because someone else did not hold up after they signed a offer letter. The director called me which I was in the middle of cooking dinner but was very interested in the position and went to meet with the director within the next two hours which was 5:00pm. I lived fairly close to the school. The director and I discussed my background job experience etc. The director also showed me the classroom I would take on which was the Pre-K classroom as the lead teacher. Once we walked back to the office the director basically complained to me she was tired of working as the joint teacher in the Pre- K classroom and would like to be full time in the office. The director told me she felt a connection and a good feeling with me and God works in ways you would not imagine and want to verbally offer me the lead position as the pre-k teacher on 9/12/17. The director discussed hours and my pay rate. The director stated to me can you fill out and either drop off or email my paperwork back so we can move forward with the process. I told my husband that I was offered the position and was very excited and turned down a few other offers I have received. The director spoke to me a few other occasions on 9/13/17 and when I told her how I felt she called me twice arguing back and fourth trying to cover up the mixed signals she was giving me and that she did not want to any longer offer me the position after I brought the paperwork back the next day. I do not recommend anyone to work under this director she was very unprofessional and misleading and showed a sign of discrimination. I was lucky enough to get another job offer that I am moving forward with. Hope my experience help someone be careful while applying so you will not experience what I did."
