"Horrific agency. Its a shame this is a government assisted agency. They need better management. I be one second away from opening a can of whip... on these people. They really don't do their jobs it be simple things they won't follow up , mail the correct forms to parents, or provide detailed responses. I truly hate dealing with these people. I pray I never have to deal with them ever again. It's ridiculous what women have to go through to get help with childcare. You would think these people would be compassionate"
"This agency's contract needs to be revised or revoked. During the pandemic they closed their office to clients and I had to wait 3-4 months to receive my childcare subsidy. I called weekly and practically begged for any kind of help, yet those pleas fell on deaf ears. During that time I went into debt to pay my child's daycare fees and I am JUST getting out of that hole. They lost my paystubs and then tried to deny my case because I didn't submit my pay stubs. I am literally fighting for my son's right to an education on appeal, because they failed to keep track of my documents. If you are having a similar problem, call your state representative. That is the only way I have ever received meaningful assistance. I will also be demanding my state rep open an investigation into the glaring inconsistencies within this office. Where are they sourcing employees? Working mothers of Philadelphia are SUFFERING IN SILENCE! Not anymore. I'm going to speak up and YOU SHOULD TOO."
"The worst childcare assistance you will ever have. I am an entrepreneur and they are refusing to approve my paperwork. I have been trying to get childcare for 4 months. Michelle Velasquez needs to be fired and this non-profit needs to be shutdown. They want single mothers to be slaves and they treat you like you are nothing. I even reached out to the CEO and nothing. The Velasquez woman accused me of fraud and I sent in appeal 30 days ago and still they have not sent me a notice of a date. I'm not giving up. I am going to see if I have a case to sue them."
"Horrible. Head's up: if you're on hold for more than an hour, the hold time starts over so you lose your place and you're still on hold. Employees have no consideration for clients concerning hold times and issues resolved. There are people like myself who can't come into the office during their modified schedule 10a-3p because of our own personal work schedules. Also to say that you guys are understaffed, and that eligibility assists in office when I'm calling BEFORE THE IN OFFICE HOURS BEGIN, showed poor customer service and a lack of empathy. For this to be a people driven service, people are not considered. Also, emails go Un responded to as well. It should not take 3 weeks to receive an email response. Very disappointed in the lack of service that I've received over the last 3 weeks."
