"Worst shelter in Pennsylvania! This is extremely sad. I had a very close friend of mines stay in the shelter with children and when I tell you, I was on the phone with her when I heard them telling her things (like what her children can and can not due ) this is more like a jail then a shelter!! it is crazy. No one does their job there. My friend did everything on her own. It is just very sad how some of us need the help and this is what we get or know someone who went though it and it’s sad when these places should be helping but do nothing ."
"I have been meaning to write a review since my little one started preschool here in August, and I have been moved enough to remember to actually do it! From the moment we met Ms. Tonya in a totally fateful moment, I knew this would be such a special experience and it has been. My daughter LOVES going to school. She is learning so much already, coming home almost daily singing a new song. She is learning to be social (which was huge). Yesterday was the candy walk to city hall, and I was reminded how above and beyond the teachers go to provide an excellent experience for everyone. My daughter had to quarantine for a bit and became very re-attached to me. She had a blast on the walk, but realized that going back to school meant I would be leaving. She had a fit in the middle of the street. Ms. Tonya came over, picked her up, and walked her back to school with me. I am forever grateful for moments like this, and many others, where Daniella's teachers have gone above and beyond to make sure she has a great experience. Thank you SO much to Ms. Tonya, Ms. Alexis and everyone at Third Street Alliance!"
"I can’t say enough great things about this child care facility. My two boys have been going there since they were infants. Every teacher they have had has gone above and beyond in taking care of my boys. The management staff and director are so quick at answering any question I have and they have done a phenomenal job keeping everyone safe during the pandemic!!"
"Someone needs to look into who’s running their pre-school program here. My 3 year old was so excited for her first day, she didn’t even cry when leaving me for the first time. I understand the first day can be extremely busy for the teachers and parents, but not only was I not greeted even with just a quick “hello” while dropping her off, I also was quickly handed my hysterically crying toddler while picking her up. No quick update on why she was so upset, nothing posted to her brightwheel, not even a “bye”. The woman just handed her off to me and went back to what she was doing. To me, this sends many red flags up. I had to be the one to ask why my child was crying so hard after being so excited about finally going to preschool. She only told me that it was a long day and that my child would be fine by next week………. My 3 year old still gets upset talking about this place. We enrolled her into a different preschool and have had no issues with it, she loves going! She asks us every morning “we are going to the new preschool not the old one, right?” Think twice before sending your child here…. Even if it is free for low income families, it’s not worth traumatizing your children."
"I’m so upset someone I have watched growing up fell on hard times and went to this establishment just recently she went to go get her kids things to eat and drink walked past the front desk the lady there could have reminded her out of courtesy that the doors would be locked soon. When she arrived back at the establishment she was locked out with a couple of calls and no one answering the front desk phone she did what any other mother would do to make sure her kids where safe and warm she went up the fire escape to get Into her room, well she was kicked out cause she thaught of her kids. Now I understand that there are rules and a curfew but for someone who has been there causing no trouble and respecting the rules this could have been helped I would have done the same as she and I’m sure a million other mothers in her situation would have done the same. Definitely gonna do my homework on her rights and help her as much as I can in this day and age no one has a heart!!!!"
