"I was referred to Jay Ann Intimates by insurance for a prosthetic nipple following a mastectomy. At the time, all they offered was off the shelf nipples. I had my heart set on a custom nipple to match my existing one, but they didn't even have an insurance code for it. Rejecting the off the shelf nipple left me despondent in tears feeling less than whole. Farrell and Susan saw my complete breakdown and guess what? They fought for me to get my custom nipple! This wasn't just a nipple, it made me feel whole again and not like an amputee. It was a part of my womanhood restored and is absolutely priceless to me! I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me! The insurance company dehumanized me, but Jay Ann restored it. My suggestion to ladies facing mastectomy is to get your molds and match up the colors before surgery if you are losing both nipples. If you are only losing one nipple, the molds can be made after surgery of the existing nipple. Good luck to all cancer survivors! This was my second and hopefully last occurrence of breast cancer."
