"The owner was extremely rude to us after I asked the price of a bag, mentioning how we looked too poor to afford any of the items and told us not to touch any bags as we would only “dirty” the shelves she worked so hard on and that we should spend most of our time in the clearance section. After asking my girlfriend whether I should purchase the bag, she took the bag from me and told me that I can not buy it and should instead go to the thrift stores down the street. This was obviously her being racist as she treated the white women shopping before us with nothing but kindness (even after they bought nothing!) but apparently I- an Asian man- was not good enough to shop at her store. I should have listened to the other reviews and realized this is not a safe place for POC to shop. If we are talking the inventory it was fine but she did insist that “all items for sale were authentic designer” but I would say about half were knock offs, especially the Burberry bag labeled Durberry’s"

"First of all, Irina isn’t too nice of a person. Wasn’t thrilled with her attitude especially just trying to casually browse the store. Second of all, it’s not that nice of a store anyway so I’d recommend other places to try to find items you can find at full price boutiques. I like vintage items and when I asked if she had any vintage Prada, she laughed and was clearly mad I mistaken her for some kind of thrift store."

"I’m a big fan of consignment and thrift stores, so on the outside this little store interested me. Walked in and the shopowner (Irina) put on her mask just as I stepped into the store. I tried making small talk with her (she told me she’s had this store for 35 years), and asked me “Do you know why kind of store this is?” I responded “A consignment store”, and she said “Yes, most people think I’m a thrift store.” I told her I like consignment and thrift and I think she got offended when I said that and made it clear to me she is not thrift since her items are more expensive. I got the vibe that she thought I couldn’t afford anything, which made me feel uncomfortable since I just wanted to look around. She then asked if I was going to buy something and if I wanted to see the sale rack, and I asked her “why are you asking me these questions?” She replied she just wanted to help me find what I was looking for but it was obvious that she didn’t think I could afford anything. I looked around and these clothes are not new-like at all. The shoe section is a pity. Clothes are very outdated and extremely overpriced. Oh and when I turned around, her mask was completely off which was very annoying. Will never come here again."
