"A friend of mine recommended this salon for their great service. I went for the complimentary consultation to see what I thought. Well, I was sold! Tiffani was great to work with, very experienced with the brow treatment and she did beautiful work. It was worth traveling a little further for quality service. I will go back!"
"I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I initially saw Dominique from microblading and had a color boost done by her. The best thing I’ve ever done for myself and I’m so glad it was done by her! I just recently went back for another color boost with Katie and she’s just as amazing, which I didn’t doubt when I scheduled. I waited to review after my brows were completely healed and they are once again perfect. I get so many compliments daily! I drive a few hours to get there and I believe it’s 100% worth it. I tried once to get a color boost somewhere closer to home and was disappointed. When I come to izora my color can last 2-4 years without needing a touch up (with proper care of my brows). I never experience pain, they do a great job numbing. In my opinion if you want micro bladed brows and you want them done right this is the place to go."
"I’ve seen Dominique for the past 5 years for a mix of micro blading and shading/ ombré. I have never been unhappy with my service. We used to pluck our eyebrows pencil thin in the 90s and a lot of that hair never grew back. Honestly, I think it makes my face look younger and I’m going in for my 3rd touch up (hopefully soon but Dominque books way out) and I’m bringing my mom to have hers done too. There’s a lot of new places popping up but I wouldn’t use anyone else, personally. 10 out of 10 recommend."
"I got microblading done by Dominique in 2019 and again in May 2020. They initially looked amazing BUT (this is why I am leaving a 2-star review) they have faded to an ugly grey-blue color which is very unflattering. Now I am looking at how to remove them. Here is what I've read causes this to happen: 1. the color is implanted too deeply into the skin 2. brown microblading consists of black, white, yellow and red pigments in different proportions and each pigment has a different residence time in the skin. In most cases, the lighter and finer pigments are broken down more quickly and the dark or dominant pigments then remain in the skin. pigments with more red components were used for eyebrows that had turned red-orange and for bluish-violet discolored brows the pigment used was probably too cold-toned for the skin. In the case of blue-grey discolored eyebrows, it is most likely that the color used had a large proportion of black pigments. I think people need to know the risks of microblading. When I got it done I was under the impression that it would fade completely over time. This is not the case and as I mentioned, I am now researching costly laser removal of my brows. Also, people need to know the risks and that it could fade to this terribly ugly color. If I was made aware of these risks, I would not have gotten them done."
"I just completed the microblading essentials course at Izora academy. The course was fantastic! From the beginning sign up leading up to start of class they answered all my questions and sent emails that kept me informed of the class schedule and what to expect. This stood out to me because it made me feel welcomed. Taking a new course can be scary, and the fear of the unknown can make the difference between someone signing up, or thinking twice. I appreciated that extra time to make me comfortable and that I mattered. The first impressions of Izora Studio. It’s completely gorgeous, it’s a beautiful space. I was greeted at the door, they had gourmet pastries for us, and the classroom area was pristine. We each had our own desks, which had our complete kits, and the Izora academy manual and pen. The course was very organized and each day was seamless. Each of the instructors had different topics that they would cover. This kept the flow of the class going. I mention this because they weren’t “winging it” this course was planned, organized and it was clear from the first moment that I made the best choice for training. Not only are all three of the owners SUPER talented and sought after, they were there to help us succeed. Carly was a great resource for setting up the trays, room, and how important the cleanliness is, she answered so many of my questions and would go over my practice strokes with me giving me tips along the way. Before our model day we had a live model demo, where we watched the entire process from start to finish by Domonique. She is phenomenal to watch, and learn from. She walked us through the steps and we got to see her doing each part. This made model day easier because we had already seen it not just from a book or a slide but in real life. I LOVED working on live models my last day. I feel so grateful for Tiffany. She was encouraging and helpful and I learned so much from her showing me ways to improve with my models. I couldn’t of done it without her guidance and support. At the end, I was very proud of my work for being a beginner. I felt fabulous, it was rewarding to be able to make someone feel beautiful. I highly highly recommend the Izora Academy. It is SO worth it! The education from three of the best owners, and artists in the business is PRICELESS! I feel ready to keep growing and learning but prepared enough to start the journey. THANK YOU!!!!!! I am so happy I took this course and I feel so blessed be apart of this academy!"
