"This is one of the worst companies ever. I wish I would have known this ahead of time. I called when my car was in an accident and I could not get anyone on the phone to help me regarding the towing company I can use or where I can have the car towed. The accident was at 9am this morning I'm still on hold waiting on someone and its 1pm now. This is not acceptable at all and I have full coverage on my car."

"This insurance company is garbage, full of scammers and fraudulent policies. If you try to call for any help whatsoever, you will be on hold for 8+ hours just for them to randomly hang up on you. The insurance tellers are rude and again unhelpful in all regards. Not to mention this company will find any way shape or form to rob you and leave you high and dry. Even if you’re a paying customer for years with a clean record. I’ve had full coverage for years, never missed a payment, but when it came time for them to handle their part of the deal, I was told to figure it out for myself because they were not going to help. Just be prepared to have a lawyer on stand by since you inevitably will have issues through them."

"This company is extremely difficult to work with. The adjuster, Juan Romero, has not once returned any of my calls or emails since I submitted my claim 3 months ago. Whenever I call the customer service number I now to have to preface with, “please do not transfer me because it goes straight to his voicemail and he does not return my calls or emails.” The customer service agent I just spoke with was helpful, but was rude (though I will admit that because I am so frustrated with this company, I’m sure that came through in my attitude as well) and pretty much just hung up on me after I asked if Juan Romero was even a real person because he has not contacted me back at all. Let’s see if this issue gets resolved. It’s been 3 months so far…. UPDATED 12/13/23 - I finally received what I was supposed to through the mail."

"This is the worst Insurance Company that I have ever dealt. I have been with them over a year and a 1/2 and I was in an accident. And they were not fixed my car. I have been trying to talk to my adjudicator she never calls me back and every time I call their main line. The person don't know anything. We have to stop letting these Insurance Company to get away with murder. American alliance is the worst Insurance Company that I have every encounter."

"The WORST insurance company ever. First it’s been almost 2 months and they are still not done with my claim. They wait to the last day they have to do anything. The customer people don’t help you with anything and can barely answer any questions. They low ball the repair people which makes them delay the process even more. They make you pay for your car rental and tell you they will reimburse you but it’s like pulling teeth to get your money back. You have to constantly call them. Then they only approve the rental for 20days yet here it is almost 2 months and I still don’t have a car and they are still working on the claim smh. They made me pay for the tow and storage fee when the car was in the accident which was $500 and they do not reimburse you back. I have yet to find one good thing I can say about this company. It’s worth paying a little extra if you have to for a better company. DO NOT PICK THIS PLACE. They are rated a 1 for a reason…"
