"DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE!!! These people are liars and extremely condescending I paid for this insurance due to false information being given to me. I was told that they are a MassHealth and I missed the deadline that’s why I have to pay $354. I explained my situation and I’m responded back with “if someone told you to jump off a bridge would I do it”- Shanice. Thank you Shanice for laughing at my issue and believing that the position you have gives you enough audacity to speak to me like that. No one is trained on proper customer care let alone speaking to someone without inserting their personal opinions. I had to jump through hoops to cancel my policy and I still don’t trust that’s it’s canceled. I hope no one deals with the loads of uncalled for disrespectful attitudes I was given."

"If I could use a negative star, I would. This company has no clue how to operate a business, much less a health insurance company. They are defined by extremely poor customer service. I paid for the entire month and they cut off my access days early and I tried a full day to call and connect with someone and when I finally got through at 430pm they said for me to be reinstated it would take 48 hours. What a jip."

"Do not use this . If you just got it cancel it right away. They promised me full coverage for me and my daughter . We’ll they have a list of providers on there website and I called every single one of them trying to schedule an appointment . Nobody recognized them. The list on there website is fake. The customer service is unprofessional, I waited 30+minutes ones in hold and then the call went blank in there end. These people can not be trusted and I’m in the process of a full refund right now . I paid $700 and have received nothing. Also I was promised insurance cards would be coming in the mail. They never came and when I called and asked about it the person said it was on the way. They never came ."

"Shameless scam. I thought I was getting an insurance plan with AETNA, but when the details were finalized and sent to my email, I noticed the “Optimed Health” name in the email and the red flags immediately went up. I downloaded a copy of my temporary ID and the insurance card had logos with insurance providers I’ve never seen before: “TVP Health,” “FirstHealthNetwork,” MyHealthCare Ninja.” I furiously began calling every number associated with the transaction and nothing. Just “please wait your call will be answered shortly.” Eventually one phone number answered but I was getting pressured into buying a new plan when all I wanted was to cancel this one. Even more irritating, the line kept getting dropped, and it was the same number that I used to purchase the plan I thought was with AETNA. When I called the optimed customer service line, the guy who answered definitely wasn’t speaking to me from within the U.S., and when I asked for my plan to be cancelled and my initial payment refunded, he put me on a brief hold, came back to say he was transferring me to the proper department, and the call was dropped shortly thereafter. I emailed the customer service address listed in the initial email receipt and I was told my request would be submitted but when I followed up asking for how long it would take, no response was ever sent. I took the bait because in my haste of needing health insurance after not having any for two years I thought I was getting a plan with AETNA, a well-known and established insurance provider. Instead I got fleeced into a “plan” with a company I’ve never heard of before. I can’t even remove my bank card information from the online Optimed Health portal nor is there a link to cancel my plan. If you’re googling “Optimed health,” and haven’t committed to them, good—stay away. I’ve already begun reaching out to the FTC and other government bodies to try and get these people investigated for fraud."

"This insurance is a scam. I paid 600 a month for the health insurance. They changed addresses after I had gone to lab corp. I wound up having to pay labcorp 1,000 along with my insurance and 900 plus for the knee injection. I am also having to pay 2,755 that they approved and didn't pay for the knee injections done in January. DO NOT BY OPTIMED HEALTH INSURANCE."
