"This company is a complete scam. You are wasting your money taking any insurance with them. If you get sick and file a claim they will post a check (trust me there is no check) to the wrong address. You have been warned. Try calling their customer service and you will be routed to the Phillipines. Sales in the US..LOL. I would highly recommend that you do not take any policy with this company"
"Based on my experience, in terms of communication and payment, I would not recommend GeoBlue. Unlike other clients, my claim was not denied. However, they received my claim on 11/3/23, and I did not receive payment until 2 1/2 months later. I called GeoBlue multiple times. Although the representatives were very polite, they gave me conflicting information and would not let me speak to a supervisor. When I questioned as to why my claim did not appear on the “claim in progress” of the app, I was told that it would not show up until the claim was settled. GeoBlue claims to have mailed me a check on 12/14/23. Because I did not receive said check, they issued another check on Jan 11th. Finally on 1/8/23 I was contacted by an Escalations Manager. At that time, she assured me that the new check would be overnighted on Jan 8th. That did not happen! As a last resort, I filed a complaint with the “Better Business Bureau” on Jan. 22nd. Subsequently GeoBlue overnighted the check to me, and I received It on Jan. 24th. Even though I have over 8 months left on my policy, I will not use GeoBlue again!"
"I recently took ill and found out that I have my lower coronary artery blocked (called the "widow maker") and now I am waiting almost 3 weeks for GeoBlue to finish their process although the medical team gave an approval so that I can have treatment and surgery.... I am still waiting... and waiting and waiting for the Finance Team to give final approval and sign off. My cardiologist and hospital have called numerous times also asking for this to be escalated as an emergency... I would NEVER recommend this insurance. One will likely die before they get around to getting anything done. They are the most inefficient incompetent company. So much for having the protection of international health insurance.... sounds great... NOT even good! Why is it that insurance companies decide whether one lives or dies... gets the medical care they need or not instead of medical experts?!!!"
"I had surgery back in January 2023. I have submitted all invoices at least three times. Geoblue continues to decline reimbursement for a variety of reasons from they can’t determine if we have coverage to please resubmit the claim with all the invoices. Once resubmitted geoblue says that it’s declined because it’s a duplicate claim. I am at a loss!!"
"We have 11 unprocessed claims submitted since February that have still not been processed. 8 more since May. Our company chose to use GeoBlue for international coverage, but if you have a choice, please go to ANY other company. After going through customer service (creating tickets) I only receive information on what HAS been paid since January. The only answer I have received is that they contracted the claims to another company "and it is now on [that company] to resolve the claims" and how to contact them. In the meantime I have providers calling and emailing looking for their payment- along with the collection notices."
