"I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m so angry leaving this nail shop. Had to ask multiple times for the tech to fix flooded nail polish at the cuticle. Tried to argue with me that it looked fine, fixed a few and then spoke in Vietnamese to the tech next to her. An acrylic fill was 50 dollars, which is super high for a in-and-out strip mall salon. After ripping up my cuticle with an electric file, I asked she trim the jagged raised pieces, to which I was told “that will be 10 extra dollars”….. huh?! I paid an additional 20 for a chrome powder, making the price over 70 bucks. You’ve gotta be joking that they will leave you with jagged cuticles at that price point. Didn’t clean out the filed down acrylic from under my nails, so I’ll have to do that and trim my cuticles when I get home (except the one that’s bleeding). To top it off, when I asked about the extra charge for cuticle cutting at the front desk, all I got was a snarky response from some fluffy haired young dude at the counter. I’ve been here a few times and it’s been hit or miss depending who you get. This takes the cake and I won’t be back. Too bad it’s so conveniently located because this could have been my regular place. Do yourself a favor and PASS."

"I have been going to LA Nails for the past few months and have always had a pleasant experience. Today I had the pleasure of working with Phillip. He was so kind and attentive to detail. I normally get a refill, but today he explained the benefit of soaking off my old set and starting fresh. I was so pleased with the end result, especially with the design. I will definitely be scheduling with Phillip again!"

"Love this place, I haven’t don’t my nails in a lot of time and was a little scared to get them done because of bad experiences. But to my surprise it was a wonderful experience, Philip was great and did an awesome job. He was really nice and made sure that I liked the shape and form of my nails. Everyone is very polite and professional and always want go above an beyond to make sure I’m happy with my nails before I leave. The dip manicures last for weeks and everything is reasonably priced. Would recommend this place to everyone!"

"Beautiful place, and lady I got was nice. However the quality of work wasn’t there and I left unhappy. I believe they have much potential to do a great things but they are very quick to get people in and out. And I get that, that’s how you guys make money. I could tell the lady was rushing. I wasn’t even offended a drink. My nails are different in size and shape. I also asked for no gel, and they used gel. I wanted almond shape with a simple Christmas design. I don’t often get my nails done, so this really was a bummer for me. Was not worth 87.00 dollars to me. They also charged a convenience free. Not sure if it’s because it was a walk in or because I paid with my credit card."
