"This is the absolute worst health insurance company I have eve dealt with. I am 64 and have a few years of experience with this. The website login is abysmal and system error messages do not indicate what is the next step in fixing a problem. The auto-attendant is worse than the website. By the time I reach someone with a pulse, the auto-attendant has already frayed my patience with all its useless information that one must first wade through. All the personal information which the auto-attendant demands is never conveyed to an actual person who then asks you for the same information again. What is the point of this, to achieve maximum customer frustration with minimal support? I guess the goal is to waste my time but not yours. Suppose the reverse were true.....would you be happy? Customer Service folks are not trained and most of the time do not have access to the information they need to help someone. I especially love the fact that when one is on hold, much of the time the call either just drops off or is lost in transfer to a manager. You have multiple websites that reflect different locations but no centralized website login for ALL locations. If your IT Department cannot fix a simple issue like this, they all should be fired and replaced with competent people who can."
"DO NOT USE Failed to apply payment, failed to activate coverage. Service providers refusing care. Despite payment no visible account in system. I have confirmation of payment for new contract from 12-14. As of 1-5 No cards, no access to portal. 4 attempts to have payment applied have failed. They only see the payment if I press them on confirmation ID number. Then promises follow to apply and get coverage active. On 1-5 attempted to use coverage for lab work, provider can not find member id number, group number etc. Call center is obviously overseas. CSR have little to no ability to fix problems. DO NOT USE Blue Cross/Blu8e Shield through Highmark. Terrible service organization."
