"While this may be a bar inside of a hotel, it's not your typical place. The atmosphere is amazing on Friday nights they have a buffet, 15.00 all you can eat. And all the food is made on site. Their wings are coated with a homemade sauce that when I went was a homemade barbecue and it was one of the best barbecue sauces I've ever tasted. When I was there they were teaching a new line dance, the pool tables were being used and happily enjoyed, and the female bartender was absolutely bubbly and made my stay there worthwhile. If you're in the area I would highly suggest stopping by and having a drink!!!"

"Was visiting from VA stopped in for a drink…best margaritas I’ve ever had so ordered quite a few more lol…pizza and wings were absolutely amazing! Eric was cool as a fan…great service and so polite…made us feel very welcomed ❤️ top notch for sure!"

"Imagine my surprise when I was treated to one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever tasted when my wife and I dined at The Moon Tavern. I’m a fan of rare meat but all too many places buy their hamburger already ground, making it risky to cook it less than medium. This was really rare. The kind of rare that one only gets at places like The Capital Grill. I checked with the chef (I’m not going to say “cook”; he’s much too good for that title.) and he revealed that they grind their own meat, a method that is both safer and more expensive as well as labor-intensive than getting pre-ground beef. Even if one isn’t ready to stay at the associated motel, The Moon Tavern is worth a stop."

"Decent music great atmosphere staff was good n point but the chef gets a hand clap. The bbq bacon jam wings are bomb just get lite sauce so they aren’t swimming in it. The garlic park wings were my favorite tho just the cheese has slot of salt but they are the best ones. The peanut butter pie on Oreo crust was very good."
