"We sat in the extension which isn't as nice as the main room. Service was not great. It took 3 tries to get silverware. And it took a while for the food to be brought out. But the food itself was very good. I had the monte Cristo which had a lot of meat and was very good. My wife had pancakes, which were good, but again it took a couple of tries to get extra butter (the pancakes are huge). So, ask to sit in the main room and hope for an experienced wait staff person!"

"We ordered Barb’s Special and a simple two eggs over easy with Italian bread. The Italian bread was so good. Eggs over easy were cooked perfectly (whites cooked, yolk runny). Simple breakfast with good service. We brought our dog and sat outside. Would return."

"This place was great and I will definitely go here again when I want a full breakfast. If you're looking for an "elegant", "trendy" or "cutesy" place...this is not for you. This is a real, down home diner with all the friendly characters, shaky tables, and quirks. I ordered "the kitchen sink omelette" thinking that may include just all the usual fillings. I then attempted to order 2 more eggs and a side of home fries because I've never been to a place where I filled up on one breakfast meal. The server made sure I knew the omelette was actually a 4 egg omelette and already came with home fires....and I'm glad she did! I was full and satisfied with no extras.. which hasn't happened in awhile. Always had a full cup of coffee, food delivered fast (especially for 4 meals!), prices were so cheap! and tasted amazing."
