The Pipe Rack & Cigars

"I stopped at the Pipe Rack during a work trip last summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of hard to find or otherwise sold out pipe tobacco, like Carolina Red Flake, and at good prices. Dave was wonderfully accommodating and knowledgeable, particularly with recommending new (to me) tobaccos. He introduced me to the world of Mac Baren. I look forward to stopping here on my next trip to Philly!"

"I drove from Lewes Delaware to visit this store, the pipe selection is incredible and you will find something for nearly any price point you're looking for, from new to estates. The owner/clerk was incredible in his knowledge of tobaccos, and when I told him what I liked - he pointed me Straight to the the blends he recommended and both are pretty on par with my pallete. He didn't try to hard sell me and got me with a pipe that I was looking for and great blends. The store is tiny but his stock is massive. This is a must go for any pipe smoker, one of the last few specialty stores."

"Good tobacco shops are quickly becoming a thing of the past but The Pipe Rack is keeping it alive. My wife and I stopped here today and I can guarantee it wont be the last time. Sure I can get all this stuff online but I can't get the experience of a brick and mortar visit or the know how of a real tobacconist. 10 min of shopping and a half hour of lively conversation with the owner was worth the trip. The shop was well stocked with quality pipe tobacco and cigars. Real nice selection of estate pipes as well as new pipes and impeccable service. I highly recomend The Pipe Rack."

"Im very happy to find a shop like this.. After Burdicks closed in Hatboro I no longer had a store to go for pipe tobacco and accessories. The place is a historical shop that, opened in 1963,: and has been restored to a pipe smokers nook. The owner is very Knowledgeable and could probably answer any questions you have. Amazing pipe tobaccos and pipes. Among the great selection I also got a very nice Unfinished Author from Savinelli series iii. There is also a very nice cigar selection. Arturo Fuente, Ashton, Romeo y Juliet, Perdomo, Padron just to name a few. I don't think you will be disappointed if you come looking for something here :D"

"I love this tobacconist. I come in at least once a month to restock on tobacco, and I bought my favorite pipe there - a beautiful Savenelli bent author. The last time I was in, the owner told me he had around 150 different tobacco blends available, both in tins and in bulk, and more on the way. And that's to say nothing of the cigars. I doubt there's a better pipe tobacco selection anywhere in Philadelphia area. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He's given me solid recommendations every time I've visited. Love this place, can't recommend it highly enough."
